Exercise Number 2 - Secondary Observation (Selfie) Self-portraits
Six Selfie-portraits
In this task I took these selfies that portrayed different emotions and then drew then as separate portraits. I had a hard time finishing this task due to losing my selfies and aving to try and remember the emotions I chose and retaking the selfies to match my drawings.
Exercise Number 3 - Manga Facial Expressions
In this exercise i watched a YouTube tutorial and followed the narrators instructions step by step on how to draw the maga facial expressions; Delighted and embarrassed. This tutorial was simple to follow and allowed me to complete the manga facial expressions.

Within this exercise, I drew the hand gestures displaying the following emotions:

Using the props provided I carried out a photoshoot in the studio using a sword and shield to step, block and then lunge. The DSLR camera was be set on multi-shot mode and will capture the movements you make in a series of photographs.
Exercise Number 8 - Silhouette Figures Drawing
Primary Observation - Negative Space
Using a series of dark felt pens, produce a series of 8 figure drawings observed from life that study the pose of the model, but only draw the negative space around the figure (NOT AN OUTLINE), leaving a silhouette. Work loosely, but carefully.
Use two pieces of A3 paper folded into 4 and work in a variety of locations around the college site. You can work in both landscape and portrait formats. You may find that you have to draw more than you need as your models may move.
In this task I drew the silhouettes of people around the college. This made me focus on the backgrounds of these people and not them.

Using the crafting technique I created a 3D drawing of a weapon of my choice. I created a design of a lightsaber with 3 blades.

Using a full range of coloured markers, I decided upon an analogous, complementary and triadic colour scheme and completed the supplied templates.

I used clothes pegs to outline ideas for how to use them in different designs.

Exercise Number 1 - How To Guide
I created a guide that explains an activity using only images and symbols – NO WORDS on how to tie a tie. However I put my own twist on this and made it a guide to how a superhero should change into his secret identity.
